Malawi Learning Roadmap Series Overview
The Social Support for Resilient Livelihoods Project (SSRLP) in Malawi includes a subcomponent on financing scalable safety nets which will support the design and implementation of a mechanism to scale up the Social Cash Transfers Program (SCTP) in response to weather-related shocks, initially drought.
The learning roadmap series: “Disaster Risk Finance (DRF) for Social Protection in Malawi” has been designed to include e-learnings and interactive learning sessions (September to December 2020) to help the Government of Malawi and its Scalable Core Task Force design the mechanism of scaling up the Social Cash Transfers Program in response to weather-related shocks and prepare the operational handbook.
