Simeon Joachim Abel

Simeon is a consultant at the World Bank Group, where he works on the disaster risk financing agenda in Sub-Saharan Africa. His focus is on establishing and scaling financing mechanisms to enhance the resilience of households and businesses against climate shocks and to mitigate the impact of displacement events on refugee and host communities. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University
