Berenice Flores Arias Uijtewaal

Berenice is a Water Specialist with over 8 years’ experience in the World Bank’s Water Global Practice. She has extensive experience and expertise providing hands-on support to both operational and technical assistance teams in project design, implementation, and coordination, management of global teams, knowledge sharing, and monitoring—primarily in the Latin America and Caribbean region. Berenice is the LAC water unit’s focal point on ‘water and gender’, fostering this agenda and promoting the cross-cutting theme of ‘inclusion’ in the water LCR pipeline together with the Social Inclusion colleagues. Berenice holds a master’s degree in International Development Studies from Utrecht University and a bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration from Erasmus University-Rotterdam School of Management. She is currently based in Santiago, Chile.
