Alper Oguz

Alper Oguz is a Senior Financial Sector Specialist in the World Bank Group’s Finance, Competitiveness, & Innovation Global Practice. He is currently responsible for developing policies and programs to support financial sector development and stability in the Europe and Central Asia region. He has worked on issues related to SME finance, financial inclusion, capital markets, financial stability, and financial crisis management in a number of countries such as in Albania, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Turkey, Cyprus, and Croatia. Prior to joining the World Bank, he worked for Ministry of Treasury and Finance in Turkey. He holds an MA degree in International Finance and Development from Columbia University in New York.
