DRIVE: Building Resilience through Insurance in the Horn of Africa

In preparation for COP29, which will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan from 11 to 22 November 2024, Swiss Re has launched a new "Leaders in Action" episode. In the video, Veronica Scotti (Chairperson Public Sector Solutions, Swiss Re) is joined by Hope Murera (CEO, ZEP-RE [PTA Reinsurance Company]) and Alwaleed Fareed Alatabani (Practice Manager, Finance, Competitiveness and Innovation Global Practice, World Bank Group) as they discuss how the De-risking, Inclusion and Value Enhancement of Pastoral Economies in the Horn of Africa (DRIVE) project promotes climate resilience and financial inclusion in the Horn of Africa, and how it has grown since last year.
