On June 13 and 14, 2024, the "Climate and Disaster Risk Finance Executive Education Program" convened by the World Bank Group as part of the World Bank Group (WBG) Academy was held in Oxford, United Kingdom. The program was co-delivered with the University of Oxford in partnership with the Global Shield against Climate Risks and the Insurance Development Forum. The executive education program was a part of the World Bank Group Academy, the Bank’s new initiative of delivering the Knowledge Bank. The program enabled meaningful knowledge exchange and provided deep insights into building financial resilience against disaster and climate risks.
