[Virtual Event] Understanding Risk Global Forum (UR22) Satellite Hub - Innovative Financial Solutions in Southeast Asia: Addressing the Financial Impacts from Climate Shocks and Disasters

Join us for "Innovative Financial Solutions in Southeast Asia: Addressing the Financial Impacts from Climate Shocks and Disasters" virtual session as a part of the Understanding Risk Global Forum (UR22). This year's UR22 will be a hybrid event with the main location in Florianopolis, Brazil, and satellite events taking place in London (UK) Niamey (Niger), and Wellington (New Zealand). 

The virtual session will be a part of UR22 satellite hub in Wellington, New Zealand hosted by the Institute of Geological and Nuclear Sciences (GNS Science) in association with the World Bank. The session will present a carousel of technical talks focused on innovations in disaster risk finance in the southeast Asia and discuss the different risk information needs countries have to make policy level decisions on what instruments to put in place, and also the kind of data that is needed to design and implement financial solutions.
